…on the plane ride back from fes, morocco i sank into a deep prayer and began a list thanking this turning world for the infinite abundance all around us. the list was really simple; i am so thankfull for the small things in life; for example in my morning showers i thank god for the water splashing on my skin. i realize the joy of imagining all the big things in life too and this is what makes us human-beings great; our ability to shift our awareness, our level of consciousness and acknowledge the good that is around us and be thankfull for it… this is greatfullness! this is the largeness. this makes me feel big inside and lets me know where i come from and where i am going-
when ever u need a lift, please read the list and add to it as u feel gratefull and breathe in all our goodness given from godness.
WE ARE GREATFULL for:
1. a roof over our heads
2. food in the fridge
3. running water.
4. hot water.
5. cold water.
6. transportation: buses, trains, airplanes, bicycles.
7. wild succulent strawberries, blackberries, bluberries.
8. healthy, happy families all around the world.
9.healthy, happy friends all over the world.
10. caregivers, healers, artists everywhere.
11. ghandi, martin luther king, mother teresa.
12. jesus, gautama buddha, allah, yahwey, krishna.
12. singers, dancers,therapists, yogis.
13. bellydancers, fire-breathers.
14. clowns.
15. the mediterranean.
16. the pacific ocean.
17. glaciers on the mountain tops.
18. forests filled with healthy, oxygen-producing trees.
19. children’s laughter.
20. wisdom of women.
21. wisdom of men.
